With more than 1,500 Spot robots deployed globally, it is more important than ever for us to provide the same industry leading service and support to our international customers as we do domestically. In 2023, we opened our first international office near Frankfurt, Germany offering  sales, services, and field application services for European customers. Since opening, we’ve doubled the size of our team in the EU, expanding our service capabilities and providing greater support to our European customers.

Today, we are expanding our reach again for our customers in Korea. A new strategic partnership with Clobot will enable us to offer a full range of local services and support in the region.

Deployment and Support with Clobot

Clobot is a leader in the Korean robotics field, with years of experience in autonomous driving technology, robot control systems, and customized on-site solutions. They focus on smart factory automation solutions, deploying Spot to support safe and efficient operations.

Our CEO Robert Playter and other team members recently joined Clobot for an event to highlight our commitment to the region. The event brought together representatives from major enterprises in heavy industry, manufacturing, energy, and logistics, as well as leading research institutions, to learn more about the role of Spot in industrial inspection. From current customers of Boston Dynamics and Clobot to new prospects in the region, we were met with consistent enthusiasm for safe, predictable automation and we are excited to be able to better serve the Korean market.

This partnership will allow us to extend our team’s reach and ensure high quality local customer enablement. Clobot will be an official distribution and deployment partner for Spot in Korea, as well as introduce the region’s first Spot repair service. These services will be provided in close partnership with the Boston Dynamics team, including expert training, to help us enable our customers from their first pilot to scaled deployments.
